Suspect Brewing is a company founded with the principles of brewing beer without ever using barley in the process. Initially started by Matt Marriott at the beginning of 2020 (great time to start a company btw…), he was soon joined by Ross Brown and in December of 2020 they had scored themselves a brewing premises down in Leith (as there was conveniently one for sale). Having spent the past few months renovating the brewery space and making it ‘legal’ to sell and produce beer, both Matt and Ross set about launching their first beer in June, 2021. Our first beer, Circuit Breaker, is a Lager made with Malted Millet and Buckwheat. We source our grain from gluten free sources and our brewery is a dedicated gluten free facility and we do not permit gluten on the premises.
